Link your ORCID iD with Web of Science<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Web of Science (WoS) is a comprehensive and bibliometric database provided by Clarivate that enables you to raise the visibility of your research to your peers and funders, track connections between articles, identify impactful and suitable journals for article submission, obtain bibliometric indices, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By linking your ORCID iD with your WoS profile and enabling two-way synchronization, you can automatically update your researcher profiles and information on both systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have not created a WoS researcher profile, you can find instructions on how to do so on the <a href=\"https:\/\/clarivate.com\/products\/scientific-and-academic-research\/research-discovery-and-workflow-solutions\/researcher-profiles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Web of Science website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you already have a researcher profile, you can connect it with your ORCID account via \u201cORCID Syncing\u201d tab in your researcher profile settings. For instructions, see Clarivate\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/webofscience.help.clarivate.com\/en-us\/Content\/researcher-profile-settings.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Web of Science Help<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step2. Authenticate your ORCID iD with Kyoto University<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can enhance the credibility of your ORCID record by connecting your ORCID iD to Kyoto University\u2019s systems via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iimc.kyoto-u.ac.jp\/en\/services\/research\/orcid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RIS-ORCID<\/a> (ORCID Profile Connection System).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step3. Link your ORCID iD with researchmap<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/researchmap.jp\/public\/about\/operations?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">researchmap<\/a>, provided by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), is the standard researcher database in Japan. It serves as a platform for researchers in Japan to showcase their research outputs and activities, and for evaluating research capabilities in government funding applications in Japan, such as KAKENHI (Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">JST is an ORCID member organization since 2013. and it enables you to connect your researchmap ID to an ORCID iD.
