ISHIZUE is an internal funding program for Kyoto University researchers who aim to further develop their research by “stepping up” to larger-scale categories in the JSPS KAKENHI (Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research) program.
It is intended for researchers who applied as the PI for a KAKENHI category larger than any category in which they had previously received funding and were not selected. ISHIZUE supports researchers in preparing their next KAKENHI application and in helping ensure a smooth start and faster research progress after selection for the KAKENHI.
