Message for researchers
I look forward to getting to know you and your ideas, and to help you navigate through the ever-changing landscape of research.
What inspired me to become a research administrator (URA)
During my PhD studies, I worked as an assistant to professors and found that I really enjoy supporting others with their research. So, when I came across the role of research administrator, I immediately became interested in it.
Academic & Professional Background
- BMus (Hons), Department of Music, King’s College London
- MMus, Department of Music, King’s College London
- M.A. (Musicology), Department of Music, Cornell University
Personal Note
As a graduate student, my areas of interest spanned from eighteenth- and nineteenth-century vocal music and the sounds and music of media, to keyboard-operated “speaking/singing” machines and the tape recorder in postwar Japan. On weekends, I enjoy strolling around Kyoto looking for interesting (and delicious) things.
