Message for researchers
I would like to provide support so that your research will be communicated to society and the results of your research will be widely used in society.
What inspired me to become a research administrator (URA)
While engaged in science communication related to earth science at the Geological Survey of Japan, I became convinced that if we could communicate our research to society in an easy-to-understand manner, not only would more people empathize with our research, but also our research results would be more widely used in society. I thought it would be wonderful if the wonderful research outcomes from Kyoto University could be communicated to society more widely than they are now and utilized more widely. This motivated me to become a URA here.
