What inspired me to become a research administrator (URA)

After working first as a researcher and then as a patent engineer, I have been exposed to research and inventions in various fields. I have found it both interesting and difficult to put research into writing.
I wanted to make use of my experience in a new field and applied to become a research administrator. I also wanted to be exposed to cutting-edge research and to help researchers in the prestigious setting of Kyoto University.
