ERC Synergy Grant is one of the research grant programs under “Horizon Europe” and is roughly equivalent to KAKEN-HI’s “Scientific Research (S)” and “Specially Promoted Research”. (https://erc.europa.eu/funding/synergy-grants)
Researchers from Kyoto University are also eligible to receive the grant as PI, although they need to apply as a team with European researchers (2-4 PIs). In this briefing session, an overview of the program and the application process will be explained along with the main points.
