The Kyoto University Lectureship Award is an international academic award established by Kyoto University to honor outstanding researchers who are shaping the future of scholarship. Through direct engagement with their research and perspectives, the award aims to inspire the next generation of researchers and students.

We are honored to welcome Dr. Clifford P. Brangwynne, the 2025 Laureate in Life Sciences or Medicine at the award ceremony. He will deliver a commemorative lecture on his pioneering research demonstrating the crucial role of liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS) in cells.

We hope this occasion will inspire scholars across all career stages, particularly those at the beginning of their academic journey.
