What inspired me to become a research administrator (URA)
There was no stereotype of URA as a profession in Japanese university when we started to prepare the establishment of KURA office in 2010. However, a kind of typical framework for URA has been gradually formulated and recognized among URA society in Japan over the past 10 years. Current my motivation is not to forget my original intention and mind to create the URA and Science, Technology and Innovation Coordinator (STI Coordinator) as a new profession in Asian region.
