Mentorship Program
The internal grant program “MUSUBIME” offers a mentoring system as an optional component. In addition to the roles generally expected of mentors, this system positions the promotion of “advancing research and mutual learning” as one of the mentors’ key roles. We regard the dialogue between mentors and mentees who would not normally have the opportunity to interact in their usual research environments as an important part of the mentoring process, through which both parties may gain fresh perspectives and ideas.
For the 2025 academic year, the number of mentoring pairs was limited to five. As there were more applicants than available slots, a random lottery was conducted, and the following five pairs were selected.
