What inspired me to become a research administrator (URA)
During my doctoral studies, I became aware of the challenges of the research environment and the heavy workload faced by faculty members. As I thought about potential solutions to these issues, I learned about the profession of university research administrator (URA). Having also received URA’s support in preparing grant applications, I realized I wanted to pursue a career that supports researchers.
